| Dear Betty, Thank you for writing your illuminating books. I had been searching for the truth and reading many and various books. Your book, Embraced by the Light, led me to believe things that I wanted to believe in my heart. Then my husband and I read the book together. Then my husband read it on his own. We have read many other enlightning books together since then, including, The Awakening Heart and The Ripple Effect. I have also bought your devotional book of daily prayers. I met a friend here who is also searching. She had been married to man for 30 years who was recently diagnosed with a returning cancer, but I didn't know that. I offered her your book, Embraced, to read. She loved it and read it to her husband (they had been divorced about a year earlier but were still friends) as he lay dying. She also bought the book, Embraced, for other members of their family to read. She also bought copies of Embraced, The Awakening Heart, and the Ripple Effect for me. That's when my husband and I read the Ripple Effect. She said your book, Embraced, came to her at the right time. Jesus led her to it and your books keep rippling out. I am continuing in my spiritual life but wasn't sure I wanted to let go of your book, Embraced. I was going to meet my friend Mary H. the following Tuesday but was hesitant to give up my copy of Embraced to her. I was compelled to read it again and realized I was ready to go on without it and someone else needed to read it. Mary called me the following day to make sure I was going to meet her and we agreed an awakening was occurring so I knew the books were meant for her. | Dear Bettie, I first read your book in 1993, just a few months after my Dad died. I really have never thought about life or other people in quite the same way since. That was a big step for me on a spiritual journey that has been rich beyond my expectations. years later when watching a TV program about near NDE's I heard a womans' voice starting to tell her story. Before any identifying remarks had been made or your picture had been shown I knew that woman was you, just by the sound of your voice. No, I had never seen you on TV or heard your voice before. I guess I just believe that God put you and your experience in my life right when he knew I was ready for it. There have been other people and experiences that have been there just at the point I was ready and open to them as well, all preparing the way for my growth and learning, but I would like you thank you, as so many others have, for being the dam breaker so to speak, such a very important person along my journey. | Dear Angel Betty- I just finished reading Ripples. I loved it! I read Embraced by the Light so many years ago and actually I have re-read it many times when the urge strikes me or when I need the gentle uplifting comfort it gives. I started many years ago purchasing used copies of your book when I run across them at Goodwill stores, used book stores and at garage sales and I pass these copies along to people I know who have recently lost a loved one as I think your book is such a great comfort. I think it is absolutely amazing the way you put into simple words your descriptions of heaven and all the love God has available to all of us if we just open our hearts to it. I have two grown daughters and it wasn't until I gave birth to my second daughter that I had a revelation that I am sure came directly from God. That revelation has helped my spirit grow in love for so many in my life. It is "love does not divide, it multiplies." We can have love of the same amount over and over in our lives and for so many many people if we just realize those words. Thank you so very much for sharing your experiences with the world. | Dear Betty, One of my previous officemate died recently. My employer and I were reminiscing about her when she was still with us and now she left us permanently (how time flies). It was then that she (my boss) mentioned about your book "Embraced by the Light". It's a must-read book according to her. Infact, few months back she purchased several copies of it. But believe it or not she let me bought 2 dozens again on that day and distributed it to us. At least by reading it we can somehow feel the nearness of God in our lives. I was searching literally everywhere, and I mean everywhere for Embraced by the Light in norwegian. No one had the book , not used or new. I tried antikvariat.net wich covers almost every secondhand bookshops in Scandinavia. No result. I tell you I was dissapointed. I thought; Won't God let me have this book and shared its message to elderly and lonely norwegians who does not understand english? And then, there was one secondhand bookshop that was not covered by antikvariat.net, and they had one copy of it. I tell you I was so glad and praised God and Jesus. | I am in need of hope. In 1985 I had a near death experience. Since than I was afraid to go out in the dark was reasured that know harm would come to me. | Hi.what do you mean about reincarnation?! The Bible says all have sinned and will face the judgement after they die. We live,die and thats it.we dont have someone elses spirit in us -neither does our spirit go into someone elses body after we die. When people are hypnotized(I dont recomend!) they get wacky stories from other people they think.even exhibiting other voices.those are of "the Bible calls Familar spirits-who grow up with a person so to speek-and are passed on to someone else when that person dies- they are EVIL! Our daughter is with Jesus now-I have heard her voice and seen her in 2 vissions and 1 dream-my friend had a visitation and message for her father&I from her for us- other friends and aquaintances had vissions of her-(Ive also, seen other relatives in heaven in a vission or dream.some happened while awake others while sleeping) but, anyway I know our daughter and others accepted Christ Jesus as their personal Saviour and that is the ONLY way to get to live with Jesus forever.

Im so gald to have found your web site I want to thank you for the books you have written in 1991 I had an out of body experience when I crossed over there were no words on earth that could ever discribe my feelings there its an experience I will always carry in my heart and in my Soul yet when I came back and got better I went into a terrible depression I did not want to be here anymore it was like my soul wanted to go back I was not happy here than my sister gave me your 1st book " Embraced by the Light" and realized what was wrong. I found so many similar facts about your life that were like mine like I went to a Catholic School Was taught by nuns and they also made me belive that I would never get to heaven I was raised behind a mission in San Antonio and looked like an Indian because of my skin coloring and I am hispanic so there was discrimination but my biggest fears were that I would not go to heaven well they were wrong. and was told there that when I go back my soul would only take back and present what earthly good deeds I had done and what I had learned I am now 58 yrs old and I think about the books you wrote and how they helped me adjust here on earth and made me realize I have a mission to teach and learn. | Dear Betty, I'm a 39 year old cristian wife and mother of 4.In a very strange way "Embraced by the light" came into my hands and I'm so sure that my 15 year old daughter who has left to be with the Lord one year ago wanted me so much to read your book. Everything that I read in your book is just a confirmation of what I have been experiencing lately. Ministring angels, the smell of roses, dreams, vissions, The holy spirit counceling me through the most difficult moments, it all became more real to me. You have realy been a blessing to my life. I remember having this experience one month after my daughter Julie's departing, I was so overwhelmed by the smell of thousand roses. As if many angles where around me. There was this this thick air as a cloud in my living room. After that I have had beauty full dreams and vissions of places I have never seen on this earth. Your book is a way that my daughter want's to confirmate to me that those experienses are from God. God want so much to show me that it is going to be allright. That we will all be together again one day in overwhelming Joy, and that there won't be tears in heaven. God has rescued me from the depths of sin however and I have once again put him first in my life. I attend the First Baptist Church of Vandalia, Ohio. | Betty, I was raised in a non-Christian family. When I was 14 I had a very dramatic conversion experience and became a Christian. I don't know how much it showed on the outside, but I was a new person on the inside. I struggled a lot growing up and into adulthood. I had many doubts and fears. Inside I seemed to be longing and looking for something that I could never find. At one point I was suicidal and longed to go home. But, God is faithful and he has stood by me. I read "Embraced" several years ago and found it very compelling. I did not know about the other two until I stumbled across "The Ripple Effect" a few days ago and read it. It confirmed many conclusions that I had come to on my own, with God's help, on issues such as hell, why people suffered and the like. It explained some things in my life that I had not understood -- like the abuse I had growing up. My siblings and I must indeed be strong spirits sent to "break the cycle" because we're all still here and most of us are improvements over the previous generation. Some of the experiences people describe in the "Ripple" book are similar to ones that I have had myself and not told anyone: The window opening up between my heart and heaven and the love washing back and forth between us. It has happened in different ways and for different reasons, but the common thread was that I didn't see it coming. There is no way I could have generated those experiences on my own. When I read the two books my "heart burned within me" just like Jesus' followers on the road to Emmaus described. I have thought about them and I see nothing that goes against scripture. Some things go against the way scripture has traditionally been interepreted, but that is a very different thing. I agree: unconditional love is the key. It is nice to think that an awakening has begun. I have long thought that evil was increasing for precisely that reason: God was moving and the evil one didn't like it. | Dear Betty.Your book Embraced By The Light, was one of the best books I have ever read, I have been in the study of metaphysics and spiritual truth for twenty five years, since reading your book my brother and I have bought twenty or more of this book and given them to people we thought needed to hear the truth, I have given it to people that thought they were hopeless alcoholics, dying from cancer, I kept checking back with this man from time to time to see if he had read the book, he said this book had done more for me than anything in his life, the last time I checked he was reading it for the sixth time, he thought he was being punished by God for the people he killed in the war, this book gave him new hope and a reason to live. | Your book Embraced by the Light was the most life changing experience. After reading the next two books my whole outlook and personality was at peace. It took away all anger and fear. I give the book to anyone I can so that they will all feel at peace. I go to our library sale twice a year and buy several copies so I can give them to anyone I see in pain. My goal is to get all funeral directors to give this to the families that have just lost someone. Their recovery would not have them deal with regret, fear, etc. I will continue to spread the word and pass the book. I only wish I could meet you someday. Maureen Conti

| Dear betty, thank you for gifting us with your experience. just recently i lost my husband of 30 years, he had been ill for a long time from liver desease, after the transplant became ill with diabetes and cancer and many other illnesses. we new his death was inevitable and pray daily for strength and peace and thanked GOD for every day He gave us. I was still crushed when he passed. Shortly afterwards i picked up your book the ripple effect and it became my salvation . i feared finishing it til i found your embraced by the light because i found so much solace in it. but now i have finished both and am looking forward to your other books. bless you, deb

| Betty I have read "Embraced by the light" an your experience just amazed me. I just recently bought Embraced by the Light, Prayers & Devotion for Daily Living. That really lifts my spirit everyday I read it. But your experience in heaven was so interesting to read, and know that our after life is filled with people from our past an full of love from the Father and Jesus. I'm getting ready to buy The Ripple Effect and The Awakening Heart. I can't want to read them. You're books have been a blessing to me. God Bless you Betty and good luck on your movie.
