| I too had a death experience and it was not as extensive as yours, but i experienced the same love and compassion.I took away from my experience that love and kindness are the only answers to the human experience .I read your intro re our political leaders and i pray that God allows the being with the lOve in his heart to be chosen as our leader.We need his brillance and lOve to guide us.Be Blessed and thank you for writing the book ,Amen!

| I was given "Embraced by the Light" to read by a friend. It was the first time I've read a book on this subject and was overwhelmed with emotion. I am in remission for lung cancer, and this book made me less afraid of dying (but I am not ready to leave my children!!!) and the book was very comforting.

Especially a family that just lost their 17 yr old son on 7-8-08 in a tragic car accident and it has been very very hard the young mans name was Josh Mcdaniel and his parents are Lori and Julio Sanchez I ask everyone to pls pray for them to help find some comfort and give them wisdom to know that the Lord is there for them.

| Dear Betty, A very dear friend lent me two of your books: Embraced by the light and The awakening heart. I read them in two days and it felt like coming home. I never forgot where I came from and stayed true to my heart and that was quite difficult at times. And to read in your books what I have always felt inside made me very happy (often in tears with joy !). Finally someone who feels the same way. As a child I thought everybody knew what you wrote in Embraced by the light. Well. Thank you for bringing your experiences into the world. | Betty, I have so much to share, but I'll try to sum it up. Reading your book took all the fear of God out of me. I was raised with a "fear God" belief system. Your books have confirmed the truth for me. After my mom was diagnosed with cancer, I was in my early 20's and so scared of losing her. Since reading your book I was able to pray to God with an open and faithful heart. Since that time I have been blessed with many amazing experiences. My mom passed away a few years ago, but I know God is with me everyday and wont ever let me go. Thank you for your courage in sharing your story. In the past I have bought many copies of your books and given them away. I will continue to spread your story and the love you have shared with me. I love you.
