I want to say thank you Betty for continuing on with your work. I know loosing Joe has got to be one of the hardest things you've gone through. I want you to know you literally saved my life. I would not still be on this earth if God hadn't sent you to me at the persice moment he did. It was VERY inportant to continue my work because I had a spiritual experience 10 years ago that left me woth many questions. I found most the answers in your book. Dear Betty, Your book really help me not just when I'm in loss with my grandmother's death.I'm a positive person but your book gave me framework of how that positivism should be taken. Your experiences that you've shared on your book also gave me not a knowledge of how's life work but a wisdom of giving importance to life, to fulfill my mission and help others. I always share the thought of your books with others. Those whom I met along the streets, in school and anywhere. I share it with those who feels life is unfair and life is equatable with problems. This Sunday I will be commemorating my daughter, Amanda's life as it will be 3 years since she died and went to be with Jesus. Hi Betty, I just had the joyful experience of reading your book. It filled me with such peace and contentment beyond belief. My Mother passed away over 10 years ago and I still miss her very much. She was a very spiritual lady and loved the Lord very much. She always told me not to cry for her because she was going to her heavenly home. Your book helped me realize how wonderful it was for her! My Mama passed away 1/22/11. It was suggested that I read your book Embraced by the Light. I wrote the title down and promised to get when we came back to Colorado--Mama lived in Georgia. As we were cleaning her house I found your book! Mama had it already!! A friend gave it to her in 1995. Mama had underlined parts of your book in red ink. It was as though she wanted me to pay close attention to those words. It has really brought comfort to me in the past weeks. I have suggested it to our Hospice agency for families going through this process. Thank you so much for your time.

It totally fascinated me all that you share in that book, and I believed every word, as I knew already many of those truths. I read your other two books not long ago, they were also so extremely feeding. I read them often and specially when I crave Heaven as life gets tough sometimes. My husband and me have been missionaries for almost 40 years. We have a large family of 14 children and my main call in the last years has been prayer for them and others as well. My wife bought your book at a Goodwill store here in Boise Idaho. I have only recently become a believer but have been reading and studying near death experiences as a type of "Faith Builder" and for me, they are so important to helping me to build my faith. I am reading your book and I can't tell you the feelings of joy and peace that I have gained from it! I have absolutely no doubt anymore! I just kept reading and somehow just knew that this was truth and that we are put here for a purpose and that we are so much bigger than what our lives on Earth are!
