It was a very difficult experience for me. It was tough for me to watch my mother have no emotional feelings. Her cancer took this away from her. Dear Betty, I so have appreciated your books. They have taught me Love above all else is what conquors all. I have esophageal cancer and am a single mom of 4 children. I have been faced with this illness for 4 years now and it is looking like it is coming to an end, yet I do believe in miracles. I do not know how to understand if it is my time to let go or to continue to fight. Leaving my children, being that they are so young rips my heart out, but i also know they chose me for part of their journey. I ask that you think of me in your prayers. Thank you so much. I'm going to be moving to Savannah, GA from Massachusetts soon and although I know you're busy, if you could say a quick prayer for my family I would appreciate it. I would so love to meet you one day. I hope God brings our paths together even if only briefly. I think that once I am settled in Savannah, I am going to see about starting an NDE discussion group like we have up here in Boston. Hi I have a phobia of death and I have read your book when I was 16 because of my fear , I am still suffering with the fear and it just doesn't go away , it's always there and I am now readying it again . it seemed to help a lil the first time , so I wanna try and read it again . I am now 18 with a baby girl and after having her not only am I afraid of me dying but her and everyone in my life dying . I am so scared and I have been wanting to talk to you , in person or on phone/email doesnt matter . I am in search for answers and help . This I know to be true, Everything you wrote about in Embraced by the Light, I somehow alredy knew it in my soul. I have an aunt who feels the same way I do, We have long, beautiful, wonderful conversations about it, Still. After reading it over and over. I don't know how I know this, I've never had such a wonderful experience as you, but I read it and it was like reading with my veil down. I am so blessed and thank you so very much for sharing your life experience. I can't begin to tell you how much it has changed my life and my Aunts. Everytime we read it, something new is revield to us. When I read about your baby girl, I almost fainted, I too have a 'knowing' about a baby in me and my husband's life. We have lost two babies, and I am now 45, but I know there's a baby for me. family thinks it's wishful, longing a loss thinking, but we know it's more than that. Dear Betty, When Diagnosed with Breast Caner in 2004.I was not devastated by this as much as worrying about my Family, how were they going to deal with everything if they lost me. It continued to plague me with so much worrying my Sister, Ruthie send YOUR BOOK: EMBRACED BY THE LIGHT to me.as a Gift. Since then my Cancer went into remission.then in 2010, the Cancer returned,Stage IV Breast Cancer, but it metastacided into the Absomen/Both Lungs. It's now been 1 1/2 years of Chemotherapy Treatments.still hanging in there.I was just reading my BOOK again, and it helps me get through each day.I ask God for guidance in helping my Family here as well. Our youngest, who is now 36+ has been there for my needs all this time, and is planning to get back out into the world again. I hope our Heavenly Father will remember all HE has done to help me in these past 7 years now. I also hope YOU are doing well, and are in good health. Hi,my dear sister in Christ.I read youir book and loved it.What a beautiful experience you have had.I was in terrible pain one night with IBS and after the pain has ease a bit I went to bed and as soon as I had closed my eyes I had seened Jesus with such light and felt overflowed beyond word of Love,I will never forget the peace I felt and Love.Question about your book in on the chapter of of my return when you mention that the devil was angry of your return to earth,I was just wondering why he was angry and do we all have domes around us because i send a short little demon looking at me from from dresser and it was scarey.God bless you for reaching so many 1 July 2011 - Nova scotia
