A
few minutes before starting
time, you will
use your
telephone to call
the
number
emailed to you the day before (17th) as well as a second email on the day of the teleconference.
When prompted, enter
the numerical access code followed by a #.
Remember, this
is not a toll-free number, and you will
be charged your usual long-distance
rate by your provider. We
do not, nor does our teleconferencing
provider charge any additional fees for
your phone call. However your long-distance provider will change their usual rate.
Note: Headsets and Speaker Phones
Comfort is important as the teleconference is over 2 hours long, however:
ONLY When the group is muted:
May you use a headset
or a speaker phone.
These add a great deal of static and noise to the line and so may not be used when the lines are open. If you want to use these for your comfort, you will also need to have a handset ready to change over to when the lines are not muted. Stan will announce when the lines are going to be muted or are going to be opened back up so that you can change back and forth as needed.
You can also mute your own phone by pressing "6" or by pressing the "mute" button if it has one. Stan will go over these instructions at the beginning of each session. Please
be courteous and mute your phone when
asked, otherwise we will all hear
coughs, swallows, throat clearings, doors closing, dogs barking--you get the picture! :)

How grateful I am that we will be able to join each other through this teleconference and help Betty celebrate her 35th Anniversary of her heavenly visit and return to us. Listening to Betty is always an edifying experience, and that we get to listen together as a family of WAVES makes it all the more a blessing.
