This
edition of my email newsletter is the first since issue #8 of
last September. Thank you for your patience during these months
as I've taken time off to heal from my
experiences in Texas.
 Dearest
Friends:
Thank you for sacrificing your time, money and effort in gifting
those you love or care about with Embraced By The Light!
Most people write that a relative or friend had gifted them.
Some tell of receiving Embraced from a stranger sitting
next to them on an airplane - one while on a bus. Many grieving
wrote that Embraced came just after the loss of a loved
one. And it is especially breath taking to hear from those
who wrote that in their darkest hours, many just after prayer,
that Embraced just "seemed" to come as an answer to
prayer. One person wrote she just found it at her front door,
and chose to believe it was "A miracle from God." Another
found it on the front seat of her car! Others have written,
"Embraced just came in the mail without a return address
- without comment - just there when I needed it the most!
How could anyone know that but God?" People leaving the books
chose to remain anonymous.
Well,
God does know and he uses what already exists to answer prayers.
He uses you and me and all who will serve him to do the work
that needs be done. These opportunities bless us in measurable
ways on Earth; but in Heaven the blessings cannot be measured,
they are endless. The ripple effect of kindness ripples on
for generations to come. When in Heaven looking back on your
deeds, you would rather have spent your entire life in service
to others, than to have gained anything for yourself. Having
said this, I know that Heaven and all its glory and what it
means to us is not fathomable to our mortal minds! If written,
a book alone about how Embraced By The Light came into
peoplešs lives would fascinate you! These "Ripples" are of
the purest kind, because they are gifts of sacrificial love
from people like you.
Your
prayers for those suffering are expressions of selflessness,
too. Requests made to God for healing are far reaching, and
just as a tweak in a matrix, the energy from one single prayer
for someone has the power to make a difference around the
world.
It is my hope to continue reaching people still: people I
cannot reach without your help. I thank you who have contacted
my office with your request that we keep Embraced By The
Light on sale. It is done! Also, Gifts of Embraced
will continue to be sent to hospitals and to special organizations
willing to give them free. Again, I thank those of you with
helping hands in this as well.
We can live in hope and serenity when we know that God guides
our way. Though disaster and loss fall upon us, we know God
is in control, and that all tragedy great or small can create
pivotal points in our lives. As we live through anguish and
conquer our fears, these springboard us to higher spiritual
growth—growth which cannot be obtained in any other way.
Pain creates empathy, an emotion we need in order to fully
comprehend and understand the pain of others. What we do today
in our world sets standards and challenges for the next generations
to come. God bless you! Your efforts have empowered souls
with Godšs unconditional love, and it strengthens lives to
endure to the end.

If the faith
of our friends is weak, the strength of our spirits can literally
hold them up. If they are sick, our prayers of faith can often
give them strength to be healed, unless their illness is appointed
as a growing experience. If their death seems near, we must
always remember to ask for God's will to be done, otherwise
we could frustrate the person making their transition by creating
in them a conflict of purpose. The range of our help for others
is immense. We can do far more good for our families, friends,

Scientists Validate Near-Death Experiences
I
am always interested to read what those in the
science and medicine fields have to say about near-death experiences.
Here is a recent article which I felt was interesting enough
to pass on to you.
"Are
Near-Death Experiences For Real? When a car plowed into
the vehicle in which she was riding, Leslie's chest was
crushed, eight bones were broken and her heart stopped beating
for three minutes. Before she was revived, she says she
glimpsed the afterlife. "My next experience was really lying
on the ground outside of the car, and it was actually an
out-of-body experience that I had," says Leslie, who declined
to give her last name. "I was actually floating above my
body, and I looked down, and I saw all these men working
on this poor girl who was down below, about eight feet below
me, and she was struggling." An estimated 7 million people
have reported hauntingly similar "near-death" experiences.
And a new study in the British medical journal, Lancet,
gives credence to such accounts, concluding they are valid."

power of prayer is miraculous and wonderful and is strengthened
when many join their faith and prayers together. Now I have
a new Prayer
Request page at my site. The purpose is for those who
need prayer support to request it, and for those willing to
serve through prayer to do so in behalf of those who need
it. Each morning at 7 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, I will open
this page and offer prayers for those listed. This is my regular
time for my daily devotions during which I read that day's
page from Prayers
and Devotions for Daily Living and spend time in meditation
and prayer. Please join me at that time if you are able and
so desire.

of Michael Robert Horrocks, pilot of the second plane to strike

 Watch
for the movie "Dragonfly"
starring Kevin Costner. Since the movie delves into the near-death
and afterlife experiences, I was contacted by Universal Studios
to endorse it and help in its publicity. After previewing
the movie, I found that I could endorse it because "Dragonfly"
handles near-death in a more realistic manner than other movies
so far. It also explores what I know to be possible after
death. To over dramatize is natural to making movies, so you
will find some of that here, otherwise, I recommend the movie
for not only entertainment, but for its educational qualities
as well. I recently traveled to NYC to be interviewed by the
media about this film. There, I met Mr. Costner and was impressed
by his kindness and sincerity.
