My Prayer of Dedication
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for your many blessings, for giving us a beautiful world with valleys and fields, mountains and waterfalls and every living creature to tend to its needs. Help us to better learn to care for what is given us and may we always acknowledge your hand in every aspect of our lives and show gratitude and love in return.
Thank you for never leaving us alone in our sorrows, for I witnessed when in heaven your tender loving care and your eagerness to hear from us through your gift of prayer. I saw too, that whether we come to you alone, or whether we are gathered in numbers–you hear every prayer. I also saw that where two or more are gathered together in your name––in united purpose––there you are also in greater strength! As one in heart, joined with you, we empower each other!
Father, I humbly dedicate this Website to you for the purpose of empowering others through your love. There is so much pain in the world today, almost more than some can possibly endure without you. Pain that would distract the spirit and redirect it were that possible without your will. May this site serve as ‘a piece of heaven’ where your children can find respite from difficult times in life. May they feel to come here in loving spirit and bask in the abundance of love that is prepared for them. And may the sincerity of this love ease their pain and grief through the power of prayers which are offered up for them! Bless this Site and my intentions for it. Bless my Webmaster as she assists me in her many duties, and thank you for gifting her with all her talents! Bless me to keep my heart pure in its intent and direction, and may I give all that you desire of me to give. Help me, Father, to always seek your wisdom and guidance and may I always find your Spirit as I pray for your encouragement, enlightenment and love.
Thank you for your loving patience and mercy, and thank you for drawing us into remembrance of you. Bring us to recall our higher selves; our oneness with you, as we were in heaven with you, Father. And help us to prepare while we are here on earth to rejoin you in our heavenly home. Fill our hearts with knowledge of our own divinity that we might flourish in self-worth and confidence. Help us ‘stay the course’ while keeping our standards high. And how blessed we are when seeking our spiritual connection with those among us on Earth. Each precious soul is one link in the chain of Eternal Beings that were created by you for your higher purpose. Father, help us all to fulfill our missions for you and to do the work of angels––to be teachers of truth and love—not in word only, but through our thoughts and our deeds.
Bless us, your children, in our faith. May we grow more resilient and capable. We know that only through our knowledge of you, are the rays of hope and tranquility we need in these turbulent times. Continue to guide us in your gentle way until we comprehend and accept the fullness of your will. Bless us to accept our challenges and help us through them though we may not fully understand them and grow weary. We know and trust fully that your love is unconditional for each one of us, that you only allow what is needed for our eternal progression. Empower us in our weaknesses and give us the ability to forgive others theirs. Use each minuscule part of our lives to glorify you and may we walk in your light as did your son, Jesus, and fulfill our missions on this earth as he did. In all things, let us be thankful and praise you. And because Jesus walked this earth as our guiding light and showed us the way to return to you, I ask these things in his holy name. Amen.
