Having
recently moved into our new home with a secure
side gate to an enclosed garden, I left my two-year-old
happilly playing while I popped upstairs to
put away some clothes.
 After
a few minutes, I looked out to check her, but
she was nowhere to be seen. After checking the
house throughly, thinking she was hiding, I
looked and realised the side gate hadn't been
closed properly.
Frantic
for her saftey, I ran outsideand saw not a soul
anywhere. I ran to the play park, my last hope
that she would be there.
On
arriving, my heart dropped. No sign of her.
At that point I cried out to God: "Lord,
I don't know where she is, but you do, Lord.
I pray that wherever she is, you will protect
her and keep her safe. I ask that you would
send your Angels in charge of her to keep her
from harm."
Turning
from the park, I went home to get my car. After
a quick check through the house again, I grabbed
my keys. I got in the car and looked up to see
my friend's car turning the corner. She signaled
me and I got out to discover that she had my
daughter with her. She had been the Angel God
had sent to save my baby from harm. My daughter
had walked 200 meters from the house along a
fairly busy road, crossed one and was waiting
at another when my prayers were answered in
the form of my Angel Friend.
