My Mother recently passed away and my friend loaned me two of your books. She sent me Embraced by the Light and The Awakening Heart. These books must have been sent by an angel as they have been so very helpful at such a difficult time. Embraced by the Light was amazing and then The Awakening Heart really touched my heart and at the end of the book the tears just came. I believe that Gods love has really come to me from your words.

Thank you again so much for bringing this message to me and so many others. I am looking forward to reading your other books. I believe I would like to read your book on the Prayers and Devotions for Daily Living.

Dear Betty

Thank you for your reply with such heart warming and encouraging support. I am glad to hear that before her death her pain and sorrow vanished. She is so precious to me, and her dying has left me very sad, but knowing she is free from the awfulness of her fear, and that she is with God, is such a blessed comfort.

Your books helped me a lot during the days of her dying, especially the daily devotions. Fear is such a dreadful experience as you said in EBTL (satans greatest tool). Satan certainly tried to flood my psyche with fear during and after the death of mum. But love is greater than fear and evil. I am pleased that I was able to find a kind and sensitive priest who saw Mum a few times before she started to decline. He annointed her with the sacrament of the sick and reassured her about God's love for her. I am also pleased I could get your reasurance that Mum will have been freed from her sadness and pain at death.

I've read your 3 books and use your daily devotional book. I'm going through a very rough time of inner suffering right now and would truly appreciate your prayers for me. I'm 62 and have tried to grow spiritually most of my adult life. I find that my life seems meaningless, although I know that's not true but the inner aching is almost more than I can bear. Please offer a prayer to our Heavenly Father for me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this e-mail. We lost our mother and your devotional EMBRACED BY THE LIGHT was a constant source of support and encouragement for her. We have read through it many times since her death looking for comfort and clues as to her final thoughts, prayers and moments. Going through it for what seems like the one hundreth time, I noticed that the page which includes April 14th and April 15th have been ripped out of the book or are somehow missing from the text. My mother was buried on April 13th... the day our father would have turned 73. He died last year. As you can imagine, we are very eager to find out what these pages had on them. I am hoping that you can enlighten us as it will be a few days before we have an opportunity to purchase another copy of your book. If you can help us, we surely would appreciate it.

The Lord Guides My Earthly Journey

My life since my return from the spirit world had been a difficult journey of awakening, a journey that I knew would continue to unfold in years ahead. I had not brought myself here: I had only followed. —The Awakenening Heart, page 11

Father, thank you for directing my path and blessing me with insight along the way. Forgive me when in my eagerness to make plans, I fail to seek your direction, forgetting your promises to guide me. Bless me with the certainty of your will for my life, and remind me to leave behind the pride of my own understanding and trust in you.

Affirmation: I trust God's direction, and I follow it in obedience to his will.

I Have Power Over Illness And Disease

I began to see...many of my own weaknesses and recognized that I had the ability to overcome my own creations.... I could deny...illnesses the power to express themselves in me. —The Awakening Heart, page 32

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:13)

Father, when my body hurts or functions, improperly, I can easily forget that I am much more that a physical being. Bless me with self-awareness to identify the underlying spiritual or emotional problem that is manifesting itself as physical illness. Help me overcome it with courage, and faith, and an attitude which invites your healing into my life. Then help me avoid further illness by guarding my thoughts, feelings, words and actions against all negativity. Thank you, Father, for blessing me.

Hello there,

I found a typo on December 22nd passage from the daily devotional book.....the passage has the word "thorough" in it and I think it should have been "through". I just though this would help, unless 100 other people have already told you, but you never know.

On another note, I love this daily devotional and I really appreciate you writing it. It helps me to stay in a "prayerful" way all day. Keep up all the good work, people like me really appreciate it and use it in their daily lives.
