My
Dearest Friends,
Let us pause for a moment of prayer.
Father in heaven, we are devastated by the acts of terrorism
that tragically took so many lives in New York City and Washington D.C.
Our hearts weep for the dead and for their families whose lives will forever
be changed by this insane act of hatred. In this time of turmoil, comfort
and bless each person in need of assurance for the future. Help us to
see a brighter and better world to be strengthened by hope, and add courage
where we have become weak that we may go on to fulfill our purpose as
planned with you.
Thank you, for the gallant and brave souls who risked their lives and
helped strangers in need. And for those who gave their lives to save another.
We ask that you bless President Bush with righteous judgement and discernment,
that your hands guide him to find remedy for this National problem. May
we learn from this powerful lesson of cause and effect, and continue to
improve our country's leadership, and never again allow greed to possess
our government, our corporations or us. And bring us Father, to know and
to appreciate our most treasured gifts from you: our families, our friends,
and our beautiful blessed home of the free, America.
In Jesus's name I ask these things,
Amen.
