A PLACE TO SHARE AND GROW

Warring Angel Volunteers on Earth

So many of you have asked if there’s anything you can do to get this message out. It always warms my heart to know that you are eager to spread the message of God’s unconditional love.

Many readers of “Embraced,” perhaps like you, have wanted to know if there is anything they can do to help get the message of “Embraced by the Light” out to others. My readers wanting to know always bless and warms my heart because I know they like myself, have been blessed by God’s message of unconditional love and eternal life. In the past my response has been to ask for prayers and to share my books as inspired to do so. However, that did not seem complete to me, so to move forward more intensely, more personably, I organized a volunteer effort that is called Warring Angel Volunteers on Earth, or in short, W.A.V.E.S My intent is to provide active opportunities for readers and friends to become personally involved. I gave this effort the name because in offering support, many have said, “I feel like one of your Warring Angels Betty!” They refer, of course, to my description in “Embraced by the Light” of the real warring angels I saw in heaven and those whom surrounded the ship as described in “The Awakening Heart” (read full vision below) .Shortening the name to W.A.V.E.S is symbolic of the ripple effect and of our combined efforts of prayer and service which will cause ripples to swell in huge waves of goodness, love and healing energy. Our united prayers will provide healing love across the world to many, many souls. I am also inspired to capture and strengthen that effort by the establishing efforts of W.A.V.E.S in every city and town I can reach.

What You Can Do

Join us! Bring your talents to share and unite with the talents of others. In joining our efforts, we can reach out in even a bigger way. I encourage you to explore your heart and determine what you can do as a W.A.V.E to make a difference where you live. I encourage you to join with W.A.V.E.S in your area, or to begin a group of your own with like-minded friends. You could meet monthly or as often as you desire. You might select a name for your W.A.V.E.S sub-group to set you apart and identify yourselves in a unique way. Others have and it is wonderful to hear what they are doing. One such group was formed in Africa.

Once the group is established, the goal is to go about doing good in your community, giving service, lifting souls, and spreading God’s love in ways fitting your talents, energies, and desires. Whether as part of a group or on your own, here are some ideas of what W.A.V.E.S might do:

• Visit the W.A.V.E.S page daily and pray for those who have left requests.

• Start a reading group at a local bookstore or in a home to discuss my books or other spiritually uplifting books.

• Support individual W.A.V.E.S. who may need your encouragement.

• Visit hospitals or care facilities, bringing comfort, companionship, or prayer to someone in need.

• Take notice of widows, the aged, or single parents in your neighborhood and offer caring support in simple ways.

• Visit or write letters of comfort and encouragement to the grieving or those who may be far from home.

• Share your wisdom and growth with others.

I thank you for accepting my invitation and for joining with me in this loving service.

My W.A.V.E.S Vision

One night I was awakened from sleep. I felt the presence of angels around me. It wasn’t the stillness I had experienced before, the “knowing” feeling of “All is well. Go back to sleep.” This was intense, a feeling of deeper purpose. My surroundings seemed to fade, and I suddenly found myself remembering a vision that had been given to me three years before. I was on a large ship. The ship was filled with all the people in the world. There was a lot of gaiety in the middle of the ship, where people were drinking and dancing. The people surrounding them joined in on occasion, but otherwise were less involved. As I continued to look around, I saw that the two rows of people along the edge of the ship were more serious-minded in appearance. The outside row wore no smiles at all, but looked deeply concerned. Every now and then they would look out toward the sea and then lean inward and whisper into the ears of those in the inner rows. It was a curious behavior. When I glanced directly behind me, I noticed that I was looking straight into the sea and that I was one of those on the outer edge of the ship.

The sea suddenly became turbulent. The water’s color went from a dark blue to an angry, muddy brown. I looked over my right shoulder and saw the edge of the earth, and noticed that the ship was being tossed in its direction. I tried screaming out, but no one could hear me – the laughter from the middle of the ship was too loud. I began to pray, clasping my hands together tightly until they hurt. “Father, oh, Father,” I prayed, “Save us. Many have not learned of your love, how could they behave other than they do?” The sky roared with thunder and lightning, and the ship began to rock and turn until we were moving sideways. I looked again toward the sea and saw that we had come to the edge of the world.

The people along the outer edge of the ship began to pray as I was, crying out to God in loud pleas. The ones who had been laughing stopped. They now began to scream out, begging God to spare them. The sky, though still blackened with heavy clouds, scrolled back to expose the brightest light imaginable, and we saw the wonders of heaven. We “knew” that God wanted to show us these things but could not do so without getting our full attention. He wanted us to be spared a disastrous end. He wanted us to know that he cared for us, and that he loved us.

The ship stopped moving sideways and turned to reverse itself. The sky suddenly became clear, and the water smoothed then turned blue again. I knelt and began to thank and praise God for allowing me to live long enough to see this incredible miracle. The others along the ship’s outer edge praised God as I did, and a ripple effect of our prayers of praise and thanks spread inward, until the majority of people aboard ship were worshipping God. It wasn’t long, though, before the sounds of worship changed and the dancing and loud music began again. I looked at the men and women around the edge of the ship, and I knew that God had placed them there as warring angels, who had knowledge and faith in God. These earthly angels, through their prayers and efforts, would do battle against Satan. They were just people like me, who believe in God and loved him enough to give their lives to his service. As I looked at them, I knew them and they me. They were many thousands of us there. —The Awakening Heart, page 86-88
