Sorrow eats the heart if you cannot tell someone your whole mind. Only the mind knows what lives near the heart; for one is alone with their spirit. There is no sickness worse for the wise than to HAVE NOTHING TO LOVE.

A rich man is poor without Jesus! A strong man is weak without Jesus, An educated man is ignorant without Jesus! It is such a simple truth...I love this simple little quote and just wanted to share it. There is wisdom in it.

Mother Teressa mentioned.... The more you pray about something, the more coincidences... The less you pray about something, coincidences go away! Something to think about!...I believe this, I have seen it for myself Shalom! Shalom!!

Cattle die, Kinsman die, all men die at some point and time, but a noble name built on CHARACTER and HONOR is Eternal.

found this hymn in my liturgical hymnal, I like what it has to say, so I thought I would share it here. I do enjoy thought provoking sayings such as this, I hope you will enjoy it too! God be in my head, God be in my heart, God be in my mind, God be in my soul, God be in my eyes, so that I may see your face, God be on my lips, God be in my life. God be in my work, God be in my play, God be in my home, God be in my prayer, God be in my song, so that I may sing your praise...(This one makes me think of Juan-Marie) God be in my Night, God be in my Day!!!....

A warm fire is a great blessing for men and women and the sight of the beautiful sun is sweet. Good health is a blessing if you can manage to keep it and to live life fully without shame. No person is so unlucky or ill that they lack all blessings. Some people are blessed with good children, Others with close kin. Others with with enough money, and others have done "Worthy Deeds in their Life" From "The Havamal"

There is one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or consequences. When the whole world is telling you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world.... NO YOU MOVE!

The warrior soul, fighting in spirit, follows a code of honor and wisdom. Strength is found not in the arms, not in the knife, the gun or the sword, but in the mind and soul. I call on the warriors of the past, those who would stand up and fight, those who would do what is needed, those who would make sacrifices on the behalf of others, those that would die that others may live. I call upon them this night (and The LORD), to give me strength of heart, soul and spirit.

I thought I would share this prayer from the Divine Treasuries of the Church. Its one of my favorites, And I say it when I might feel stressed, tempted or angry. To me it is a very powerful, little prayer. It reminds me of the great suffering and (Mega) love of our "Blessed Savior" Jesus went through for all of us. It makes me want to be better!.. Soul of Christ, sanctify me: Body of Christ, save me; Blood of Christ, inebriate me; Water from the side of Christ, strengthen me; O good Jesus, hear me; Within your wounds hide me; Separated from you, let me never be; From the evil one protect me; At the hour of my death, call me; And close to you bid me; That with your saints, I may be, praising you forever and ever. Amen. "Soul of Christ, Body of Christ, and Blood of Christ!"....Those words really impact me, I am not at all able to express the feeling that instills into MY Soul. Just want to make Jesus proud of me! As do we ALL!

Top of the morning to ya brothers and sisters, I thought I would share a wee little prayer from ol'St. Patty himself from the Ol'Emerald isle Ireland. I love the stories and history of St. Patrick and his exploits. I would say he is one of my heroes...."And not to mention ...I really do like a good corned beef briscket, cabbage, and potatoes on St. Patricks Day! One of many prayers from the spirit and mind of Patrick, servant of God. As I rise today, may the strength of God pilot me, the power of God uphold me, the wisdom of God Guide Me, May the eye of God look for me, the ear of God hear me, the word of God speak for me, May the hand of God protect me, the way of God lie before me, the shield of God defend me, the host of God save me, May Christ shield me today. Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ Above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit, Christ when I stand, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me. AMEN. I think that Patrick really knew God the Father, and Jesus Christ his son, What do you think??....

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; were there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, faith; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O divine master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life. A Prayer By ST. Francis of Assisi. (The Gospel simplified!) I adopted this prayer years ago, I try to live it, but often fail, still working on it! The youth I at times mentor, I give out copies of this prayer, It is a great example of how our Blessed Savior wants us to live, Also it totally goes hand in hand to what Betty has been passing on from the savior her self. LOVE ONE ANOTHER!!!!

Lo There do I see my Father, Lo There do I see my mother, and my sisters and my brothers, Lo There do I see the line of my people back to the beginning! Lo, They do call to me, They bid me to take my place among them, In the Halls of Valhalla, Where the Brave may live Forever! I used to say this prayer before I did Service related to ancestral type work in temples years ago when I walked a certain path. Interesting enough though, I always ended up doing work for Scandinavian and Germanic peoples. But on a personal note ..This prayer is important to me because I can FEEL it.. besides saying it. I look forward to the day beyond the veil to visit Halls of my Fathers and converse with my ancient Warrior Fathers and Shield Maiden Mothers. I look forward to throwing axes with them, throwing spears with them and hopefully mock battles with them (I SURE HOPE WE CAN DO THESE THINGS) and of course feasting with them. I want to hang and know who they were...They Are My Family........"SKOL!!!"
