UPDATE: My boss gave me a month to prove myself or consider stepping down. I think I am proving myself. But not sure that will change her mind. HR says I have a good record and good annual reviews, meaning if I choose to not step down I think I have that choice. My boss did say she has a lot she COULD report to HR. She also says my performance will reflect on my annual review. So she is using these words to still try to get me to step down. But we meet again Oct 9 to discuss my progress. I do have an interview at a competing hospital next week. Welcoming continued prayers. Thank you!

Thank you (((Claudia))). Yes, I have been praying for me, for her, for the situation. Lately I have begun praying, “Help us out,” joining the two of us into my prayer. I figure rather than think of it as her or me, think of it as “us.” Thank you!

Thank you for prayers. I worked through canceling my classes. I let my boss know they are canceled. I think I handled it all in a pretty respectful manner. And Harmony got a bit of a tummy bug. So we stayed home today. So I’m finding my peace. Thank you!!! ❤️

My last job as a professor, I worked my rear off and the staff were really happy with the skills my students showed, and their understanding of the therapeutic concepts. However, they did not want to credit me, and they found petty reasons to let me go. I’m really worried that could happen here. I’m doing hard work and bringing sound results. But right now I feel my boss is dismissing my work, telling me she is going to do the work for me (and exclude me), and she’s making mistakes that I’m worried will fall back on me. I need protection. Thanks again!

Thank you for prayers. I’m feeling like I need to find a new job. So I know I can take care of my child. I don’t feel secure. I prayed a lot for a week. I presented my boss with a new idea that she liked and asked me to share. Other people didn’t like it so she got real mad at me. She told me to lay low and just be supportive. So for the last week I’ve been working REALLY HARD on that. But today she got REALLY mad at me. And asked what I’ve been doing. She’s not happy. I lost a job 2 years ago. That was the first time I’ve been let go. I really don’t want that to happen again. I’m on pins and needles. Welcoming prayers.

I actually have verbally done so. It felt like everyone was going to drag this out. But I said I’ve made some changes and it’s done. Give it some time now to see how it pans out. My boss still seems unsettled. Trying to connect me to so many people for advice. But I’ve decided to take it as an opportunity to meet new people and build new relationships.

Thank you for prayers! It’s been a rough week. Conflict at work. I drove to work Monday morning crying. I didn’t know why. But I could feel that it was going to be one of those weeks. But I’m feeling the prayers! It’s helping. Thank you all! And holding you all in my heart!!!!

Thank you. I have a prayer request. I had a dream that I was interviewing again for the professor position I lost a couple years ago. I woke and asked God, what was that about? And eventually I got online and saw the position is open. So I’m taking it as a sign from God to re-apply. But need big prayers. They let me go 3 years ago. And cut off communication. I’m guessing God at least wants me to be a presence by applying. Not sure they will hire me. But I’m feeling anxious. Thank you all!!!

Thank you for prayers! She blamed me a lot for an hour. Most of it seemed pretty invalid. I justified my choices and actions. Maybe she needed to hear that. I left work pretty miserable but came to work today with new strategy. Thank you all!!! ❤️❤️❤️
