“… praise God in all things, just do it and you will notice a shift in your heart, a quiet comfort a calming strength, and enduring reassurance that he is in control of all things including his perfect blue print just for [us].” —Betty J. Eadie quote Podcast Episode 15 Hello dearest Waves, so grateful to be here with you and that it is Friday and the start of the weekend! I am grateful that each day this week I was able to accomplish something useful and in some instances helpful. I am grateful for the excitement my girls felt yesterday as Matt pitched ideas with them about things of interest to them. I am grateful we were safe from Hurricane Ian, I keep praying for all those that are affected by it, my heart goes out to them, and my prayers. I am grateful to have this time at home to work on things and continue to organize and to catch up on paper work before we start traveling again. I am grateful we are heading into the holiday season and cooler weather. Praying for each of you and so very grateful for your light in Waves and on this earth!

“… praise God in all things, just do it and you will notice a shift in your heart, a quiet comfort a calming strength, and enduring reassurance that he is in control of all things including his perfect blue print just for [us].” —Betty J. Eadie quote Podcast Episode 15 Hello dearest Waves! Grateful to be here! I am glad that I have made tremendous headway on organizing and decluttering my house while keeping up with other responsibilities. I haven’t kept up with all I wanted to but with the decluttering almost done, I will be able to focus more on that. I am grateful for the extra prayers this week, it helped me with anxiety. I am grateful for the time spent with my daughter yesterday and grateful for the insight into how to better communicate with her. I am grateful I will attend a bible study woman’s group next week, this will be my first one. I’m looking more forward to meeting other women of faith than I am reading the old testament. I am grateful my girls 20th birthdays are on Saturday. I pray they have a really joy filled and blessed day and an extra blessed entire year (and beyond of course). I pray for blessed and special time with family and I pray I am still able to attend the Waves Gathering on preparedness too! I pray for all of you to have an extra blessed weekend and beyond as well, I pray for answers to your prayers and peace in your heart as you feel God carrying you and caring for you in every single way! Amen!

“Gratitude is a powerful godly energy that can counteract many forms of negativity.” —Betty J. Eadie quote from Overcoming Anger article. Hello dearest Waves, grateful to be here with you and to come back throughout the week and read and joy in what you will share! I am grateful it is Friday and the beginning of the weekend, I feel like I can catch up on things without the hustle and bustle of it being a week day. My sister Marcie called me to tell me that while she was thinking about my father who passed away many years ago, she was feeling sad thinking about how hard it must of been for him to live with mental illness especially when it wasn't so out in the open like it is now. Same thing with his alcoholism. He was the first one in his family tree to bring recovery to us and future generations, I believe he came as a chain breaker. While she was thinking about him a cardinal appeared on her deck and was looking right in her home at her, just staring at her. We all always think of my father when we see cardinals because he loved that bird the most. She texted my sister Michelle to tell her and Michelle said she heard a text come through but didn't open it because she was listening to a song on her phone and didn't want to interrupt it. It was a song that my father use to play on the guitar when we were little and it was the same song that when my sisters traveled to Hungary a couple of years ago they watched a street performer playing it in Budapest and thought of my father, he was Hungarian, and they felt he was near. Marcie said she felt like our father was letting her know he was OK. And I said I agree and that I believe he's been OK since the minute he died and that maybe he's letting you know he feels and knows your love and he is helping with things you are going through here too. She said she hopes he is helping with the kids and I said he knows that's closest to your heart (to all of our hearts) so for sure he is helping with them. I was grateful both my sisters had my father near but I started to feel sad that he didn't come to me, I felt like I could use the help too. It was just a passing thought and I stopped feeling sorry for myself because I knew God was with me. I started to think about when my mother was dying, and I told her that if God allows it can she visit my brother first, then if it's ok my sister Marcie, then Michelle next and then me. She said if she can visit one of her kids she would visit all of them! Later that day Matt was working in the garage and was playing music on his phone and he left the door coming into the house open and the song that my sister was listening to that my father played on the guitar came on. Matt does this often and I've never heard that song come on. I was so grateful to God, Jesus, my dad and all of heaven. I checked in with my brother and even though he didn't sense anything I know he is with my brother too. So grateful God allows heavenly help and visits!

Doing Service Heals My Spirit I began to heal. At first I started doing small things---fixing a meal for sick friends, baby-sitting for young parents who needed time to be alone together, making calls to older people who were shut in. These first small steps led to more, and then still more. I continued doing service because it required my energy and focus, and I enjoyed the love that I received in return. The Awakening Heart - page 33 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love… 1 John 3:14 Father, make me aware of how I can be of comfort and a resource to others whether their needs be great or small. Bless me through my service to heal from my inner hurts and to know you better as my Father. Help me feel and understand the love which you so freely give to me. Affirmation: I delight in the expression of Christ-like love and accept its healing powers.

My Circumstances Led Me to God Heavenly Father uses the tool of circumstances to lead us to him. Some believe in him instinctively and seek him out early in life. Some find him only in dire straits. But knowing that he lives is only a first step to finding him. Even when we find him we can lose him. Some people lose faith in God because their prayers seem to go unanswered. They don’t recognize God’s helping hand in giving them what was best instead of what was wanted. The Ripple Effect - page 100 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. Psalms 119:175 Father, I have looked for you in many places and by walking many paths because I did not understand that you are right here inside me. Bless me to internalize this by faith, so that I can discern your gracious beauty in all my circumstances. I love you. And I desire to live in the light of your love always. Affirmation: My knowledge of God blesses me, and I will praise him as long as I live.

My Spirit Is Receptive to God I was truly beginning to understand the power of the spirit over the body…I knew that my mind created my thoughts, and my body performed my actions, but the spirit had been a mystery to me. Now I understood that the spirit is a mystery to most people. I saw that it functions, generally, without the mind even being aware of it. The spirit communicates with God, being the receptive device that receives knowledge and insight from him… Embraced By The Light - page 66 The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts… Proverbs 20:27 Father, make me more aware that my spirit receives your guiding influence. Help me recognize and follow its gentle tugging that leads me to fulfill what I promised to do---which is to glorify you with my life on earth. Affirmation: My spirit receives and rejoices in the will of God, my Father.

“Praise God in all things, just do it, and as you do you will feel God begin to swell in your heart and senses. Greater alignment will be had with Him". —Betty J. Eadie quote Podcast Episode 15 Dearest Waves, so grateful to be here with you! I am grateful it is Friday and the start of the weekend! I am grateful I have started going through all corners of my home to clean out and organize. I am grateful the girls will be doing that with their things as well. I am grateful that I am learning to not react on my emotions, I am practicing waiting, praying and trusting. I wanted to bring something up to Matt and my prayer was for a certain outcome and if that wasn’t possible I prayed that all involved would be OK with it. Well, I didn’t even have to bring it up, he did yesterday and he came up with the same idea and decision I did regarding the matter even though he had no idea! Praise God and Jesus. I am so grateful! Sending love and prayers to you dearest Waves and I pray God takes care of every stressful things you may be dealing with in a best-case-scenario outcome!

I Am Learning to Love as Christ Taught Jesus didn’t say to love those who think as we do, or to love those we trust, or to love those who love us. He said to love one another even as he has loved us. His love is the most honest, pure, and unconditional love we can know. He loves the murderer, the rapist, the thief, the liar and yes, the abortionist, the same as he loves you or me. He loves the sick, the weak, the lost, and the ignorant as he does the healthy, the strong, the saved, and the learned. The Ripple Effect - page 43 And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men… 1 Thessalonians 3:12 Father, thank you for the example of Jesus’ love. Bless me to love unconditionally as he loves. And help me learn to trust while opening myself to love, knowing that your Spirit will guard me and show me the way. Affirmation: My greatest attribute is my love for my Creator and for my fellow man.

My Creator Knows When to Intervene in My Life Sometimes God plays an active role in preventing accidents or injuries that in his divine wisdom would not be for our good. In these cases, perhaps our knowing about his intervention creates the very growth…we…need. Although we have forgotten that we chose our path beforehand, God has not forgotten. He is an active partner in helping us stay on the path which holds the experiences we need for growth. The Ripple Effect - page 126 He delivered and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions. Daniel 6:27 Father, thank you for being intimately involved in my life. I know your divine direction brings to my path what is necessary for my spiritual development. I see your hand evident in my life and am reminded of your constant presence of love. Affirmation: Under God’s close care, I successfully fulfill my mission.

I Heal My Body by Verbalizing Remedies Positive self-talk begins the healing process. Once we have identified the illness or problem, we need to start verbalizing its remedy. We need to remove thoughts of the illness from our minds and begin concentrating on its cure. Then we need to verbalize this cure, letting our words add to the power of our thoughts. This creates an excitement in the intelligences around us, and they then go into motion, working to heal us. I understood that this verbalization can best be done in prayer. Embraced By The Light - page 65 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22 Father, bless my body with the strength it needs to fulfill my mission on earth. And bless me to be in touch with it, to listen when it signals that something needs change. Help me examine my words for indicators that my illness is not my own creation. Affirmation: I verbalize in prayer the remedy to my needs, and healing energy comes immediately to my aid.

“Gratitude, I have learned, keeps me in tune with my love and appreciation for the abundance of God in my life.” —The Awakening Heart - page 218 Hello dearest fellow Waves brothers and sisters. I am so glad to be here with you and am looking so forward to what you will share today and throughout the week! I am grateful that I was able to make headway on lots of the to-do things I have on my list. Felt like I was able to lighten my load by getting threw some of it. I really want to declutter every area in my home so I pray I start and let God guide me with that. I am grateful that I was able to visualize Jesus walking with me and Matt again, just like last week, except this week I visualized his arm around just me, it was awesome and made me smile, it’s making me smile again right now too! I am grateful that during that walk we made a step in the right direction! I didn’t expect it, but by the grace of God I was able to do my part and He did the rest! Taking it one day at a time. I am grateful that my daughters communicate their goals and some of ideas with me. I am grateful they take the time individually to sit with me and go over things. Of course some of it requires an Amazon order LOL, but it’s mainly sharing ideas and how they want to go about it and asking for a little help with something or just updating me on things. I’m so grateful for these openings, I am grateful for all of you, for prayer, for God and Jesus and so so much more!

“Acknowledgement and Appreciation for any of God’s gifts will enhance them in us, but it takes both.” —Betty, Embracing Life Facebook video 5/23/21 Fortitude & Courage Hi dearest Waves, can’t wait to read what you will share, you bless me more than you can imagine. So many times your perfectly timed shares and prayers God has used to help me along the way! I am grateful that while on a walk with Matt the other day I visualized Jesus walking in the middle of us with his arms around us. It was a straining and frustrating conversation with Matt and I just wanted peace and resolve and respect and hope. It was easy to imagine Jesus being there with us but it was distracting imagining his 'arms around us' because I kept thinking Matt can’t see Jesus yet and if he did his words would be different. Then I noticed that the sky looked so close to us. So I started thinking heaven is that close to us right now and my mind and heart started visualizing Jesus walking ‘behind' us and I was able to keep better focus. Then as I kept looking at the sky and heaven being so close and I thought of a picture Betty shares in her e-newsletter every week and I had a visual of an army of heaven’s angels, spirits and maybe even our ancestors walking behind Jesus. There were soooo many! They took up the entire width of the street side by side and went as far back in length that I could see, there was no end. I visualized this and their support, love and help and I sobbed out loud twice and am getting choked up again now as I type this. Matt didn’t hear me sob, thankfully, it was just so touching to my heart. I keep wanting to go back there in my heart and keep taking it in over and over again! Thank you for all your prayers and sharing dearest Waves brother and sisters, I love you all so much!

To Listen Is a Part of Prayer As one prays and listens, the life-giving words of the Creator enter the soul. It is one thing to pray, it is another to listen to the answer. The Ripple Effect - page 104 Hear instructions, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:33-34 Father, bless me to be still and quiet in moments of prayer, to wait upon the calming direction of your spirit in answer to my requests. Bless me with patience to give time, energy and reverence to listening for your voice. And give me courage to act upon what you show me without doubt or reluctance. Affirmation: In reverence and humility I listen for God’s voice, which quickens my spirit.

Many Are Called to Feed the Lord‘s Sheep We are all shepherds to some degree. We are all compelled by the spirit to seek his truth and do his will, each in our own way, creating waves that overlap others and resonate within their souls, inviting them to do better, to look to God, to live life to the fullest with joy. The Ripple Effect - page xv And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works… Hebrews 10:24 Father, I am grateful for the amazing opportunity to be your disciple and to share the truths that have brought my life such happiness. Make constant my desire to spread the good news of your everlasting joy, and help me to inspire and support others in their efforts to do the same. Affirmation: I share the happiness I have found with a full heart, that others may know truth.

I Embrace Every Moment of My Life Every encounter we have, even if brief and seemingly unimportant, may have more significance than we know. A brief encounter may begin a greater ripple that reaches its intended purpose years later. Everyone who comes into our lives may be part of our mission, and we, a part of theirs…By being positive and helpful towards others, even in casual moments, we can make the most of our time on earth. The Ripple Effect - page 19 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house…and the stranger that is among you. Dueteronomy 26:11 Father, your ways reflect greater love and charity than my own. Bless me to be more like you, watching for even the smallest ways to be thoughtful and kind. Help me to embrace each moment I am blessed with, to let no opportunity slip by for showing my compassion and respect to those around me. Affirmation: My every choice and action is inspired by my desire to do good and to uplift those around me.

With Jesus as the Light, There Is No Darkness I was filled with wonder that I had actually visited with the Savior of the world and been held in his arms. I began to feel stronger as I reflected on the knowledge I had received while in his presence, and I knew his light would continue to give me strength and comfort in hours of need. Embraced By The Light - pages 125-126 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear… Psalms 27:1 Father, as a mortal being I look for heroes to emulate, to image myself after, to set a standard. Thank you for sending me the perfect hero in your Son, Jesus Christ. In him is every attribute I desire to duplicate in myself. Affirmation: Jesus is my mentor. I emulate him and follow him towards perfection.

Life's Purpose Is to Bring Me Closer to God In life we don’t remember. We cannot hear, see or physically feel God. We act blindly and perhaps our true colors or our true ignorance comes out. These revelations about ourselves teach us what we need to work on to become more like God, and he kindly gives us the time and space to work on them. No purpose of life is given to force us from God. The Ripple Effect - page 89 For the Lord thy God is a merciful God; he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee… Deuteronomy 4:31 Father, as I walk in faith, sometimes faltering and often triumphing, my awareness of how much I want to serve you grows. I dream of my return back “home,” and I hope to return there with honor. Bless me to become more aware of the quality and consequences of my choices. And help me always to remember that you forgive me when I choose imperfectly. Affirmation: I embrace the knowledge I gain of myself, and it helps me draw nearer to Heavenly Father.

My Words Have Power to Create I was shown that many of the illnesses of my life were the result of depression or feelings of not being loved. I saw that I had often yielded to negative “self-talk,” such as “Oh, my aches and pains,” “I’m not loved,” “Look at my sufferings,” “I can’t endure this,” and more…I open the door and accepted them as mine. My body then lived a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy: “Woe is me,” was translated in the body as “I am sick.” Embraced By The Light - page 64 Who so keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23 Thank you, Father, for giving me creative power over my life. Teach me to use the power of my thoughts and the strength of my tongue appropriately. Let my mouth speak only words which bless and heal and spread your light and love. Affirmation: My thoughts and words strengthen my health, lift my spirits, and give me life.

God Is Awakening Me to My Higher Calling Sometimes our Heavenly Father allows things into our lives just to awaken us to a higher calling. The passion we feel about a matter might be the first clue that the job was ours all along. When we need to be brought to an understanding, the recognition of a need does just that. The Ripple Effect - page 234 This one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14 Thank you, Father, for assigning me the passion and desire to bring about your glory by doing your will. Help me recognize opportunities or needs in others which spark a desire in me to be of service. Then help me move swiftly and with determination to fill them, drawing upon the unique abilities gifted to me by you. Bless me to then stay open to hearing your voice, should you call me to serve in a different way. Affirmation: I am steadfast and committed in the work God calls me to.

“By offering heartfelt gratitude and praise to God for his many mercies, we bring down blessings without number because of the ripple effect.” —The Ripple Effect - page 95 Happy Gratitude Friday dearest Waves, grateful to be here with you and looking so forward to what you will share today or when you have time throughout the week. I am grateful I was picked for the prayers yesterday. I was feeling down and discouraged but I read some prayers and Betty’s e-newsletter and just kept to myself and worked on not letting my thoughts get negative. Today I plan to re-listen to some of the Embracing Life recordings on Clubhouse and I believe that will help too. I am grateful Alissa is healing very well from Covid. I believe she got it last week on the boat we took over to get to the Bahamas. She is so so very careful so I am surprised she got it and not me, but the only obvious difference I can think of is that I wore a KN95 mask and she wore a regular one, no way to know for sure. Most people didn’t wear masks but we chose to. Even though she had symptoms she didn't test positive until about 3 or 4 days later. Matt’s mom and her husband in Florida have Covid now too and thank God they are doing well as they are older, thanking God. I’m praying Ashley and Matt do not get it and that I don’t either, just praying for God’s will in all things and all areas, Amen. Have an extra blessed Friday and rest of your weekend dearest Waves, I joy in your blessings!
