Dear Waves, I would be very grateful if you could include my friend, Adam, in your prayers. He recently went to hospital for a routine checkup and the scan picked up an area around his brain that the doctors would like to investigate further. Naturally, he is a little worried but perked up when I told him I knew a small army of folk called the Waves, mostly based in the USA and Canada, who would take great pleasure in praying for him. I think he was impressed that I could organize trans-atlantic prayers for him! He is a very kind and spiritual person and I know he will be so grateful to each and everyone one of you - just as I am. Dear Waves, I would be so grateful if you could include my son, Tom, in your prayers. We took him to the hospital yesterday as he had a pain in his leg. Last time this happened (a few years ago), it turned out to be a blood clot. I have text him recently and the pain has now gone but he still has to wait to discuss the results of tests with the doctor. Thank you so much for your prayers. Dear Waves, I am enclosing a recording I did just over a year ago during the Covid pandemic. I think music is a great healer and hopefully my music has a healing effect too (not the opposite effect!). I have listened to some of Juan-Marie’s recordings on You Tube and again, I always come away feeling uplifted when I do so. I recommend you listen to her beautiful voice 👼 🎶 I must point out that one reason I look a little nervous in the video is because I noticed a spider on the floor just as the producer hit the record button. I have always been afraid of spiders and was so worried it would crawl up my leg during the recording - hence the constant frown! Dear WAVES, I have just watched a video on our news stream and read an accompanying report about a young mother and father who have lost their 18 month old son, due to the bombing in Ukraine. As the grandfather of a beautiful boy, only a few months older than the young boy who lost his life, and having watched his mother’s cries of “Why? Why? Why?” I feel shaken, and very upset. Lord Jesus, I ask you, from the deepest depths of my heart, to bring comfort to the young parents who have lost their child. I pray for their extended family and friends, for the medical aids who tried desperately to save this boy’s life and for those around the world who have watched this tragic footage. I know you will cradle this young boy in your arms. My thoughts are with his parents. Lord, please send healing angels to stand with them as they come to terms with their loss. May God bless them, today and every day. I pray for Mr Putin too. I pray that he comes to see there is no benefit at all in this invasion. I pray for the Russian people and those in Ukraine and I pray for every other person around the world who has been saddened and shocked by recent global events.
